They say that life moves in 7 year cycles. Well, after 7 years of teaching at the Old School, I’ll be moving my Thursday evening classes to a different venue from July 4th onwards.
The Old School has been a wonderful home to Flow & Restore since its inception in 2017, but it’s time to say ‘goodbye' to the sound of church bells and carpeted floor tiles - and ‘hello' to accessible parking, underfloor heating and the comforts of a bespoke yoga studio.
From July the classes will run at the Movement Studio in the centre of Haywards Heath. They will continue to run from 8-9:15pm, and continue to feature the blend of dynamic flow and restorative stretches that students have come to expect and enjoy.
The Movement studio has been a favourite place of mine for years - it was founded by my close friend Emily Johnson, and I've been teaching there since the day it opened back in December 2019 (yes, they really were unlucky enough to open just before covid struck). It feels a natural fit for me to be bringing my own longest-standing class into this environment.
If you’ve never visited the Movement before, you are in for a treat! It’s bright, warm and welcoming, tucked away behind the high street (South Road) and adjacent to Haywards Heath East carpark (which is free to use after 6pm).
As always, all kit and props will be provided free of charge but you’re welcome to bring your own mat along if you prefer.
Spaces are limited so please use the booking page on this site to reserve your spot. Packages and memberships will of course be valid at the new venue.
I'm looking forward to this next phase, here's to 7 more years!
